Unknown error 31 is occurred when i connect to win98 computer to windows Xp s2 computer?

i have 4 computer. 3 having win98 and one have winxp SP2. i creat all user on winxp computer all comps are in workgroup. when i try to connect win xp computer from win98 with map drive or net use or network places an ERROR is occurred "UNKNOWN ERROR 31". plz help me.
