Do brainstorm usa cds help a student better than a tutor ?

I need help in math and i have two options, use brainstorm usa or get a tutor. I really dont know which one is better though, my dad wants me to get the cds because they will help me better than a tutor. Could someone please tell me which one is better if you have used it before or if you could find reviews on it. thank you.
