From a purely philosophical standpoint, what would be your best definition of "God"?

God is the Almighty Creator of everything. Without God, not a god, there would be nothing and no purpose to life. Everyone needs some kind of hope and without God there is no hope. I don't care who you are, when it comes right down to it, you HAVE to have faith in something. And I'm talking about near the end of your life. You may not think much about it now, but trust me when I say you won't have that peace of mind when you close your eyes in death.
