Is it right for your boyfriend to book your airfare without your knowledge and then charge you $1,600.00?

I told him that I simply cannot afford the airfare over $1,000 just to go to South America for 3 days, it’s not worth it and I’m on a budget this year. He just booked the flight and never told me how much it was going to cost me. He kept telling me “Don’t worry, we’ll figure something out”. What does that mean to you ladies out there? Then I found out that he used his mileage and now he’s asking me to reimburse him 60,000 airline miles or pay him $1,600 which is how much it would cost if you convert mileage to dollars. He refused to tell me the cost while we were on vacation and told me not to worry about it. Then when we got back, he told me I owe him $1,600.00 for the airfare. Is that fair to me? He didn't’t give me the option of looking for a cheaper flight or any input to this matter what-so-ever. Then I asked him if the shoe was in the other foot and I charged a flight that cost $1,500 would he pay for it? He said it’s not the same. He has no regards for my feelings and never consulted me before booking the flight. Now he wants his money. I’ve already paid him over $1,000 and he still keep asking for more. If I knew he was going to rip me off, I would’ve never gone on vacation w/ him. I think he’s even charging me for the food we ate, when he made it look like he was treating me for dinner. What would you ladies do?
