Question for Yankees Fans who don't live in, aren't from the NYC area or Upstate NY: What is your logic?

I dont follow baseball much, but i do like the Yankees. Now, i live in southern California. I'm not a band-wagoner i've loved the yankees since i was like 8. Back when i played baseball. I honestly just liked the way they played. Not really their wins and such.
