Science fiction help!?

I am writin a science fiction story. its a girl that goes back to her dream and saves a person from being abducted by national scientists. she wakes up anf finds out in the newspaper that that person has recently done something good. i need help starting! and expedition/ climax/ initiating event. thanks!!
